DX51D Cold Rolled Steel Coils
Grade: DX51D (JIS G3302 standard), cold-rolled steel coil for hot-dip galvanized substrates, corresponding to the Chinese standard SGCC
Production Process and Specifications
Cold Rolling Process: Thickness 0.12-3.0mm, Width 20-1500mm, Coil Weight 3-10 tons (Standard Coil ID 508/610mm)
Galvanizing Process: Hot-dip galvanizing (Z30-Z275), with surface options of Zero Spangle, Mini Spangle, or Regular Spangle.
Surface Treatment: Additional chromating, oiling, or passivation treatments are available to enhance corrosion resistance.
Applications
Construction Industry: Roofing, wall cladding (PPGI color-coated sheet)
Comparison with Other Grades
DX51D vs. SPCC: DX51D is a galvanized steel substrate, while SPCC is ordinary cold-rolled steel that requires subsequent galvanizing.
DX51D vs. SGCC: DX51D is a JIS standard grade, while SGCC is its Chinese counterpart, offering similar performance.
